Dear family,
Elder DeTavis and I are working hard here, and doing our
best to bring others unto Christ. I'm am focusing on growing my faith and
pushing fear out of my life. This week I studied the principle of faith a lot,
and I learned more about its true power. I want my faith to grow and be a
building block for all of my life. It is the way to have a peaceful and joyous
reality. It's a wonderful principle that the world doesn't teach.
Elder Richard G. Scott has a great quote that I heard this
week that says, "You become what you want to be by consistently being what
you want to become." I thought that was super great and that it would be a
fantastic guide to life. Heavenly Father has laid out a great Plan to show us
what we can be come. It's that marvelous!
I'm very grateful for The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-Day Saints and for the marvelous blessings that it has brought into my
life. I'm grateful for the individuals who are now enjoying Gospel blessings
that didn't have them before because of the labors of our mission. The
Washington Seattle Mission is the best!
I'm really happy for Ryan and his mission call! He's going
to have an excellent time in Peru ,
and do so much good for the people down there. He'll have an excellent
opportunity to learn the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That flight is going to be
crazy long! There'll be someone to share the Gospel with, though.
I hope you're having an excellent week, and that all things
are well. Thank you for all that you do for me!
Love,
Elder Talbot
